ELS Orlando is located in the Stetson University Center in the town of Celebration, Florida - just 20 minutes by bus or car to downtown Orlando and even closer to the areas theme parks, including Disney World®, Universal Studios®, Epcot Center®, and Animal Kingdom. The Stetson University Extension campus is within walking-distance of the charming Celebration Town Center with its lake, numerous shops, boutiques, movie theater and restaurants.

Off-Campus Student Residence

Shared double occupancy rooms arranged in one-room suites with en suite bathrooms. The Ramada is 2 miles from the Center and transportation will be provided to the students three times a day, or it is approximately 15 minutes by bike or 30 minutes by foot from the ELS Orlando Center. Although no meals are included in the price, students receive a 25% discount at the hotel restaurants or can eat at many nearby restaurants and shops.

Homestay

Students will travel to and from their Homestay families by public transportation to the Celebration bus stop, then by ELS shuttle to the center at specific times.

Marybeth Ferland
Academic Director of ELS Language Centers Orlando. She has a B.A. degree in Art and French, Masters and Education Specialist degrees in Curriculum and Instruction, and additional post graduate studies in Language, Literacy, and Culture. Her interests include anything in the arts. Originally from Boston, Marybeth loves the charm of the city of DeLand and the friendliness of its people- reasons why she has lived there for more than 30 years with her husband and 3 sons. She has also lived in Germany, France, and the Netherlands.

Alla Dubinina
Alla, is the registrar at ELS Orlando and originally from Krasnodar, Russia where she worked for years in office management. Alla’s interests include second language learning, as well as learning about the similarities and differences between cultures - reasons why she very much enjoys working with international students at ELS Language Centers DeLand.
