ELS/Clemson is located on the traditional campus of top-ranked Clemson University in the rural college-town setting of Clemson, South Carolina. The 567-hectare campus has a traditional appearance and is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Two-bedroom on-campus apartment housing with two students per bedroom. Shared living room, kitchen and bathroom per four students. Furnishings provided for ELS apartments include beds, desks, chairs, linens/towels, sofa, and kitchen equipment. Students clean their own rooms during their stay. Calhoun Courts has internet access in rooms. The Commons Area has a social room, laundry facilities, vending machines, and a recreation area behind it for volleyball and basketball.

Homestay

All ELS Centers offer homestay accommodations with an English-speaking host family. ELS host families are carefully screened to ensure they provide a pleasant and safe “home away from home” for our students. Living with a host family can help you learn English faster while experiencing American customs and culture firsthand. Students often develop very close relationships with their hosts — friendships that can last a lifetime. Students have their own room and are responsible for their personal transportation.
