Center Staff
Gonzalo Isidro-Bruno
Center Director: Dr. Isidro-Bruno has an Ed. D. in Second/Foreign Language Education and an MA in Applied Linguistics/TESOL from Indiana University. He accumulated over 20 years of teaching experience before his appointment as director for the Leo R. Dowling International Center at Indiana University in Bloomington in 2001. He was a Center Director in the ELS Center in San Antonio for four year before coming to Plymouth. Dr. Isidro-Bruno, a native of Mexico City, has published in the area of third language learning.
Zita Bodonyi
Academic Director: Zita Bodonyi earned her Masters in Education at ELTE in Budapest, Hungary, majoring in English and Russian. In the 1990s she ran her own English language school in Budapest offering classes at all levels. Prior to working in ELS/Plymouth, she created and taught ESL and technology courses in an international boarding school in New Hampshire where she became interested in developing techniques to help students with diverse learning styles.
Anne Bahr
Registrar/International Student Advisor: Annie is the newest addition to the ELS team in Plymouth. She has a B.A. in French Studies from Wheaton College in Norton, MA where she pursued her love of languages. She has had several opportunities to study, intern, and work in France, most recently spending a year in Burgundy as an English Language Assistant. She grew up in the Plymouth area and still loves the snow! She is excited to welcome international students to New Hampshire.
