Woodley Park (Student Off Campus)
Description: ELS now offers housing in the Woodley Park/Adams Morgan area of Washington DC. This new location is only 15 minutes public transportation - 3 Metro (subway) stops from the Center's location near American University. At this location, we offer apartments, with 3 bedrooms (double occupancy), 2 shared bathrooms in the apartment, a common kitchen and a common living area, with television. Internet access is available in each room.
Apartments come fully furnished. Kitchen area includes basic utensils, silverware, dishes, bowls, glasses, major appliances (oven, microwave, and dishwasher) and a full size refrigerator/freezer. Living area consists of a sofa, 2 upholstered chairs, and 2 desks. In each room there is a set of dressers, a nightstand, along with a double closet.
This facility is secure and staffed with on-sight residence assistants 24/7. Many students from other US universities stay in this facility. Nearby are numerous places to purchase food and meals, along with other amenities. Students now will be only minutes from the ELS center and minutes from the attractions of Washington DC.

Homestay(Homestay)

Calling All Merit Scholars! We are proud to present our ELS 50th Anniversary University Tuition Scholarship in celebration of Fifty (50) Years of ELS Leadership in International Education.
This scholarship is a special recognition for students like you--with outstanding academic achievement in your undergraduate, graduate, and/or secondary school.
If you meet the minimum grade point average (GPA) and several other requirements, ELS will award 50 percent of your ELS Language Centers English for Academic Purposes (EAP) tuition. The ELS 50th Anniversary University Tuition Scholarship will be paid directly into your student account at the ELS Host Institution or AEC member that issued your CLA, making the process simple and official.

Last Thursday marked the opening of ELS International Pathways office in Chennai, India! This momentous next step for ELS was celebrated with traditional Indian foods, Indian dance performances and presentations of the history of ELS and the new mission of ELS in India. We will provide objective education counseling to help students achieve their higher education goals in the USA, Canada and Australia.
