As a city of remarkable sporting talent, Boston provides our students with the excitement and community brought by winning sports teams. As a result, ELS/Boston students have gotten the opportunity to stand witness to many championship parades down the streets of Boston.
This year, students were able join in on the festivities and line up against the center's panoramic windows to witness the city-wide celebration. The center's central location gave students a chance to watch parades march through downtown Boston, witnessing some of the world’s most famous athletes waving at them while on floats and holding up coveted championship trophies.
Boston is known as a city very proud of its sports legacies, and it is home to many professional teams in football, baseball, hockey, and basketball. ELS/Boston students are always encouraged to embrace the local city's culture and activities, and they can even get the chance to attend one of these professional sporting events. Sports enthusiasts and spectators are all welcome in Boston, and we look forward to many more championship parades.
ELS/Boston boasts a robust student activities program that focuses on unique opportunities for speaking English with native speakers. Students in any program are welcome to attend these various opportunities to practice their English and prepare for their future.
ELS/Boston is located in a fun, urban setting in the heart of Boston. The Boston Commons, Government Center, Theater District and Chinatown are all within walking distance from the Center. To see some of these activities, search #ELSBoston on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!
