About the programme

Use this course to prepare yourself for the IELTS examination. The IELTS Preparation programme in Australia will give you the tools, skills and confidence you need for success on the IELTS examination, as well as in undergraduate and postgraduate study in Australia. You will learn what to expect from the format of the exam, develop necessary academic skills and practise under simulated test conditions. The course is sure to increase your confidence in your abilities on the day of the exam.

Applied Learning: You will practise using simulated test conditions to help you to feel comfortable with and prepared for the format of the exam.

Optional Classes: Customise your course and enhance your experience by attending three additional classes each week. Classes include: Active listening, pronunciation clinic and fluency practice.

IELTS™ Preparation

  • Number of hours per week:
    • 20 compulsory hours per week with an additional 2.5 optional class hours available (22.5 total hours)
  • Course length:
    • 2-12 weeks
  • Maximum number of students per class:
    • 18 students
  • Age requirements:
    • Minimum age is 16
  • Entry requirements:
    • Successful completion of a pre-course entry test at the College prior to course commencement; IELTS 5.0 (academic) for direct entry
