Homestay

Inside Manhattan homestay: convenient to shopping and popular New York attractions. Only breakfast is provided, and lunches and dinners can be purchased in local delicatessens and restaurants. Homestay students are responsible for their personal transportation but the subway and bus system are very convenient.

Homestay

Outside Manhattan homestay: Moving to a new country can be exciting but challenging. Staying with a host family will help you to feel more comfortable, meet local people, and improve your English language skills. Homestay students in this option stay in suburban New York, which includes Staten Island and New Jersey, depending on the homestay. There is good public transportation to all areas.

Student Residence (Off Campus)

Note: Due to limited availability for Single rooms, counselors must contact the Central Admissions Department for approval before submitting an online application.
The Amsterdam Residence Hall is located on Manhattan's exclusive Upper West Side, considered one of Manhattan's safest neighborhoods. The Upper West Side is an upscale, primarily residential, area of Manhattan. The Amsterdam Residence Hall has 24-hour security.
Students will also have many opportunities to meet other students from around the world by taking advantage of the multipurpose lounge, large communal kitchen, and shared computer area. Additionally, the Amsterdam Residence Hall provides you with a Residence Assistant, who lives full time on the premises and who is available to personally assist students and answer questions.
