ELS Rochester is located on the campus of State University of New York – Brockport in the village of Brockport, a college town on the Erie Canal just outside Rochester, New York. Visit Rochester’s galleries, enjoy live theater, explore the natural beauty of the Finger Lakes region, or shop in local boutiques or upscale malls.

The college offers a variety of other living arrangements including rooms for one to four students. Most students choose to live in a double room with another student.

Cost per Session
Meal card included in the price student pays for housing. Meal card balance depends on number of weeks student books at Harmon Hall:
-1 Week: $75 on debited meal card attached to student ID
-2 Weeks: $150 on debited meal card attached to student ID
-3 Weeks: $225 on debited meal card attached to student ID
-4 Weeks: $300 on debited meal card attached to student ID
Meal card functions as a debit card: student swipes at time of meal purchase.
ELS/Rochester has many excellent homestay accommodations close to the Center location.
The average commute time is currently 10 minutes by car, and in most cases, host families are willing to provide transportation, although not required.The Center's homestays are conveniently located close to the ELS Center and the College at Brockport campus. Almost all new homestay families are less than 45 minutes by public transportation.
Home types vary, but in general, ELS host families live in safe suburban and rural neighborhoods located near the Center. ELS students will be assigned single rooms, some with shared bathrooms. All homes have heating and air conditioning, along with wireless internet. ELS students will have access to kitchen and laundry areas in the home.
