Housing Options

Student Residence (On Campus)

  • Schmidt Hall is set up in a typical residence hall layout with two students per room and community bathrooms. Schmidt Hall rooms are approximately 16' X 12' with a window measuring 46" high X 72" wide. There are two single beds with 80" mattresses in each room. The beds may be used as separate beds or as bunk beds. Each room also has two desks, desk chairs, dressers, wardrobes, and under-bed storage units. The furniture is moveable.
  • Basic cable is available in each room and the entire building is equipped with wifi capabilities.
  • Each hall contains laundry facilities, study rooms, secured entry/exit 24 hours a day, front desk attendants, and resident advisors on each floor.
  • Most halls have a shared kitchenette in the general lounge area.
    Note: Students will be housed in Schmidt Hall during the academic school year and Tyson Hall during the summer term.

  • Fourteen (14) meals per week are included in the dorm booking. This meal plan allows for dining at various locations throughout campus. All dining facilities offer a wide range of nutritional foods to fit every lifestyle.

Homestay

Students will have a single bedroom. The average commute from the homestay to the ELS Center is 30-45 minutes with access to public transportation.
