Housing Options

Student Residence (On Campus)

Shared typical on campus dorm room. Shared suite-style bathrooms (4 students use). Rooms include two bunkable beds, chairs, desks, two sets of built-in drawers, and closets. There is one data computer jack per student and basic cable TV service. Linens are also included. Self-service laundry machines are available in the same dorm building for a small fee. Security: There is one resident assistant for each floor - 2 for approximately 30 students. The residence hall is magnetically locked and is only accessible with a coded student ID that each student receives from the RA upon arrival. The campus police station is located across from Marian Hall and the ELS center. After 11 pm vehicles entering campus must show student ID. ***Meningitis Vaccination Notification*** Texas State Public Health Law requires ALL students, 21 years of age and younger, including transfer students, be immunized against bacterial meningitis. Student must receive the immunization at least fourteen days prior to taking up residence in on campus housing. Acceptable evidence of vaccination includes one of the following: "A letter that indicates the month, day, and year of the immunization with the signature stamp of the physician or his/her designee;" or "An official immunization record generated from a local health department translated in English." Please submit evidence of your immunization to the Center for processing. This documentation must be received two weeks before your arrival. If this documentation is not received two weeks prior to student's arrival, it may be delay the entry in to campus housing.
