  • No GMAT required.  For ELS students, completion of Level 112 is acceptable.

Applications and Admissions

In order to be considered for the program, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree with 3.0 (out of 4.0) cumulative GPA.

 

Required application materials include:

  • A submitted online application ( fee waiver cert-crid-9828 )
  • A current resume
  • Professional letter of recommendation – preferably from a past manager
  • Personal statement
  • Transcripts
  • An intake interview can be conducted in lieu of a TOEFL or IELTS. ELS students may submit equivalent ELS English Language scores of 112.

The certificate program opens up many options for students upon completion of the certificate.  Students can return back to their home country, or apply to a master's or MBA, or apply to work after their certificate.*

If you want to WORK:
You may be eligible to apply for Optional Practical Training (OPT) to work in the U.S. Successful completion of the Graduate Certificate Program qualifies students to apply for OPT. OPT authorizes students to work anywhere in the US for up to 12 months. 


F-1 (I-20) International students may be eligible to apply to study in the US and potentially increase their stay with a combination of academic study and Optional Practical Training (OPT) (12 months).

*Please note that online master’s and MBA programs are not eligible for an F-1 visa. Please review application requirements for your program of interest as some programs require GMAT or GRE test scores or years of work experience. All of your application materials submitted for your graduate certificate may be applied toward your master’s degree application. Northeastern does not have a job placement service, however, they will introduce you to resources to help guide your job search.
