About the program

International students will study English and prepare for success in Australian higher education with Academic English AE2, AE3, and AE4. The fast-paced, challenging coursework of ELS Australia's Academic English programs prepare you for direct entry into higher education in Australia – AE2 provides foundation skills for academic study, AE3 prepares you to study at a TAFE or vocational college, and AE4 prepares you for university study.

Applied Learning: Attend monthly information sessions, meet with your teachers to track your progress, and attend regular visits to ELS Australia partner institution campuses.

ELS Pathways: Successfully completing this program excuses you from the TOEFL® or IELTSTM examination requirements at over 30 Australian ELS partner institutions.

    • Successful completion of a pre-course entry test prior to course commencement to determine your entry point, OR a valid IELTS result: 
    • AE2 – IELTS 4.5
    • AE3 – IELTS 5.0
    • AE4 – IELTS 5.5
