ELS Fort Wayne is located on the campus of Purdue University Fort Wayne (PFW) in Fort Wayne, the second-largest city in Indiana. The family-friendly city is rich in culture, museums, and galleries, and features parks and trails for exploring the area on foot or bicycle.

Fort Wayne Trail System: Fort Wayne contains a network of trails through neighborhoods, scenic areas, and along the banks of several rivers, making it ideal for biking, hiking, jogging, and rollerblading.
Headwaters Park: This park in the heart of Fort Wayne hosts festivals nearly every weekend.
Downtown Fort Wayne: The downtown area features museums, Broadway shows, outdoor concerts, botanical gardens, a baseball stadium, cafés, and shopping.

Student Residence (On Campus)
Students will be housed in on-campus apartments with single private bedrooms. Housing is located directly across from the university and about a 10-minute walk from the ELS Center. Students will enjoy a private bedroom with a shared living space and kitchen. Each apartment is fully furnished which includes the following items: kitchen cookware and cutlery, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, table, sofa, television (with cable), local landline telephone, Wi-Fi and cleaning supplies. Additionally, each private bedroom is furnished with a linens, pillows, towels and a warm comforter.

Students staying with ELS host families will take Fort Wayne Public Transportation (CitiLink) to and from their homes. Host families will be located within 60 minutes of the Center by bus. Two bus lines stop directly at the university. If the host family lives outside of the bus system, the host family will provide transportation.
