ELS Philadelphia – West Chester is located on the campus of West Chester University in West Chester, Pennsylvania, just a short drive west of Philadelphia. West Chester is a quaint, welcoming college town community. Visit local shops, restaurants, and music venues, or you can easily travel to Philadelphia, New York City, or Washington, D.C.

Student Residence (On Campus)
Dorm life is one of the best ways to create lasting, meaningful friendships and become part of the University community. To promote integration of international students, ELS dorm rooms share a floor with West Chester University Students. Schmidt and Goshen Hall also offer activities and organized programs that help students get better acquainted with fellow residents. Dorm rooms are double occupancy with communal bathrooms and have in room air conditioning, movable furniture and wifi. Other amenities include on-site laundry, study areas, recreation rooms and cooking facilities.
Note: Students will be housed in Schmidt Hall during the academic school year and Tyson Hall during the summer term.
Cost per Session
Fourteen (14) meals per week are included in the dorm booking.
Students will have a single bedroom. The average commute from the homestay to the ELS Center is 30-45 minutes with access to public transportation.
