Study English while enjoying sunny St. Petersburg, Florida in this all-inclusive English camp program. Children and teens ages 10 to 17 will learn English from professional ELS instructors on the campus of Eckerd College. With Tampa Bay to the east and the Gulf of Mexico to the west, the area is surrounded by beautiful beaches and marine ecosystems. Students are housed in dedicated Eckerd College residence halls, separate from university students, and have access to the college’s athletic facilities. The camp includes activities such as pizza parties, the Festival of Cultures, shopping trips, and visits to area museums, giving students a chance to explore their surroundings and practice their English.

Students enjoy three 50-minute lessons each morning, Monday to Friday, for a total of 15 lessons per week, combined with meals, events and activities and free time. Schedule is a sample only.
All students will enjoy a special Marine Biology focus in this year’s Fun & Sun Camp, taking advantage of St. Petersburg’s amazing seaside location, with access to the rich Tampa Bay marine ecosystem. Marine Biology activities will include exploring local nature preserves, learning about watershed restoration projects, Aquarium trips, a visit to a Marine research center, and specialized classes focused on Estuary environments, reptiles and amphibians. With 1-2 Marine Biology learning activities each week, students will enjoy a unique hands-on education and discovery experience!
