About This Center

Located in the exciting Upper West Side of Manhattan on the New York Institute of Technology campus, the ELS Language Center in New York City welcomes you to the heart of New York City’s culture and entertainment experience. This Lincoln Square neighborhood offers a beautiful and safe environment for study and recreation just steps from Lincoln Center and famous Central Park.

With a convenient transportation hub on our doorsteps, you'll be able to easily visit famous New York landmarks like the Empire State Building, Broadway, Times Square, Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, the Statue of Liberty, and Wall Street. The diverse “city that never sleeps” offers a vast range of cultures and experiences that students won’t get anywhere else.

Founded in 1955, New York Instutute of Technology (New York Tech) is home to nearly 8000 students across three campuses. New York Tech offers more than 100 undergraduate and graduate degrees including technology, education, health, and business. This highly regarded institution offers an outstanding, hands-on learning opportunity at a reasonable tuition.

Upon successful completion of ELS Level 112, you will fulfill the English language entry requirement for conditional admission to New York Institute of Technology, as well as partner colleges and universities.

ELS New York, Manhattan homestays are within walking distance of subway and bus stations, providing easy access to the center, local attractions, restaurants, theaters, and other entertainment venues. Homestay hosts provide continental breakfasts. Other meals can be purchased at local delicatessens and restaurants near the center or homestay.
